And just off the B9 road to Koblenz, you'll find the nine-screen “Kinopolis” cinema experience. With rock concerts at the Lorelei and Nürburgring, as well as musical events at Ehrenbreitstein castle, the cultural offering is extremely diverse.

In Koblenz, the so-called ‘fifth season’ is celebrated in style, and there are plenty of reasons to party in the city’s countless pubs, breweries and wine bars well before the massive parade kicks off on Rosenmontag (the day before Shrove Tuesday).

Koblenz

Six kilometers from Vallendar, the world famous “Deutsche Eck” stands at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle in Koblenz. Koblenz is one of Germany’s oldest and most beautiful cities. The city is encircled by four Mittelgebirge ranges, the Eifel, Hunsrück, Westerwald and Taunus, with their many woods, pastures and lakes. The numerous churches, castles, former stately homes and well-to-do burghers’ houses stand witness to over 2,000 years of history. Narrow alleyways, romantic corners and inviting squares attract hundreds of thousands of visitors to this unique city every year.
