Journal of Supply Chain Management (JSCM)

The Journal of Supply Chain Management (JSCM) is a scholarly research journal which has been published since 1965. It has an interdisciplinary focus which includes the engagement of scholars in the fields of supply chain management, operations management, marketing, strategic management, and social network analysis. It has published papers by major leaders in the field, such as Steve Borgatti, Tom Choi, Barb Flynn, Gary Frazier, Shelby Hunt, Tom Mentzer, Jack Meredith, Aleda Roth, and Jack Wacker. Members of the Advisory Board are nobel laureate Oliver Williamson, Michael Hitt, and Jay Barney, amongst others.

Lisa Ellram, Craig Carter, and Lutz Kaufmann have been serving as the Editorial Team of JSCM since 2008. Lutz Kaufmann is the first European in the Editorial Team of JSCM. In the meantime, Chad Autry, Thomas Callarman, and Xiande Zhao have also joined the Editorial Team.

Since 2008, JSCM has firmly established itself as one of the leading scientific journals in the field of SCM worldwide. This is visible through the annual impact factors of the Thomson Reuters' Social Sciences Citation Index, through a significantly improved classification in the German Handelsblatt Ranking, and through the fact that JSCM is on the A-lists of journals of many of the leading schools worlwide. For 2013, JSCM received an ISI Impact Factor of 3.717 (2012: 3.320). This places JSCM 11th (2012: 21st) among 172 management journals and 2nd among supply chain management and operations journals.
JSCM is published by Wiley-Blackwell on behalf of the Institute for Supply Management.
