Building the starting point for fashion

On December 5^th, David Schröder, COO of Zalando SE in Berlin, Germany, presented a talk on Building the Staring Point for Fashion during the BSc course Introduction to Production and Service Operations Management’. Students could learn how AI strengthens Zalando’s sustainability (e.g., through their smart digital assistant that creates a unique user experience and customer journey as well as the smart deployment of returned items to demand hot spots across the European warehouses) and how Kaizando engages employees and continuously improves operational performance. The students enjoyed the presentation very much.
