WHU welcomes new students
109 new Master students
WHU’s programs are enjoying enormous popularity: with 195 new students in the Bachelor of Science program and 109 new Master’s students, more students than ever before are starting their program of studies. In addition, the part-time MBA program in Düsseldorf will start its next round on September 3 with 43 motivated young leaders.
WHU also recorded the highest total rate of students accepting WHU’s admissions offer since the business school was founded: well over 90 percent of the candidates who passed the admissions procedure elected to pursue their studies at the school of management.
Professor Dr. Michael Frenkel, Dean of WHU, welcomed the new students and stressed that during their time at WHU they should aim to acquire not only the necessary knowledge, but also personal skills and values. “In addition to qualifications and knowledge, WHU also wants to transmit the values that will enable you to assume responsibility in your professional careers and to be successful both in your private and professional lives.” With the words "You don’t get a second chance to make a first impression," Frenkel sensitized the students right from the start to the “WHU Spirit” that is expressed in mutual trust, support, and respect.
