First Live-in Week of the Bucerius/WHU Master of Law and Business Class of 2012 at WHU

From September 11th until 17th, 2011 WHU welcomed 46 students of the Bucerius/ WHU MLB class of 2012 for a Live-in week. This was the first time the MLB Class of 2012 stayed on the WHU Campus. The program consisted of lectures as well as of a social program.

During their stay in Vallendar the students participated at the following lectures: “Foundations of Microeconomics” with Prof. Dr. Weigand, “Foundation of Marketing” with Prof. Dr. Fassnacht and “Introduction to US Law” with Prof. Larsen.

Further to the lectures, this week offered the MLB students the possibility to discover the diversity of the WHU: they were invited to participate at the company presentations of Inverto and Deutsche Bank, got to know the MBA Class of 2012 and became a first impression of In Praxi, the WHU alumni association. In addition, they experienced the landscape of castles in the Rhine Valley with a guide tour and a knights’ banquet at the Marksburg in Braubach.

It was a great pleasure to welcome the new class of students of the joint program, which has been carried out together with the Bucerius Law School since 2006, at WHU.
