Curriculum
The Master of Science in Management program is a consecutive business science program, which addresses applicants holding an undergraduate degree in a business-related field of study. The program starts each year in September. Language of instruction is English.
At the beginning you will start with two study sections on the WHU campus, either enrolling in a Specialization or a General Management Track, which combines courses from all specializations.

In both tracks, students strengthen core competencies by taking courses in:
- Leadership in Organizations
- Ethics in Management
- Theoretical Foundations of Decision Making
- Advanced Methods of Market Research and Management Research
- Business Analysis and Valuation
Additionally, a Business Game at the end of Study Section II enables students to integrate their general and discipline-specific knowledge.
Study section three is comprised of a mandatory internship and one exchange semester abroad.
Those students with a 200 ECTS bachelor’s degree will be able to join the 100 Credit Track and start their Master’s thesis in parallel to their study abroad. Students with a 180 ECTS bachelor’s degree will participate in the 120 Credit Track and will complete their Master’s thesis subsequently to their study abroad.
