Part-time MBA 2013 Students visit Columbia Business School in New York City

Half-way through their studies the part-time MBA students visited New York.

City this June as the first leg of their international module. At Columbia Business School (CBS) they attended a customized one-week program on leadership. The lectures included strategy formulation, organizational alignment, conflict management and negotiation skills, amongst others. Sessions with a jazz band and one of the most renowned Shakespeare experts emphasized the interdisciplinary approach.

Prof. Dr. Jürgen Weigand, who commissioned and oversaw the program, concludes: “The module offered our students a unique opportunity to gain deep insights into relevant aspects of leadership across disciplines and learn from the vast experiences of outstanding scholars”.
