The Institute of Management Accounting and Control works closely with CTcon, a successful management consulting company, to facilitate the systematic transfer of research findings into practice and also to ensure that our research projects meet current business requirements.

CTcon

  • Founded in 1992 as a spin-off of WHU
  • Today: Independent, successful management consultant company working for large companies in the service, industrial and public sectors
  • Main focus: Strategy and leadership, corporate management und control, processes
  • Approx. 80 consultants based in Vallendar, Bonn, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and Munich

Cooperation

  • Close affiliation: Jürgen Weber is a founding member of CTcon and chairman of the scientific advisory board, Utz Schäffer is a member of the scientific advisory board
  • Mutual benefits: Consulting and business practice provide a practical test for academic findings, detailed knowledge of practice due to constant mutual contact
  • Joint product development (such as the current work in the area of planning systems
