Excellence in
Management
Education

The introduction of assistant professorships by WHU in 2007 has given excellent young scientists the opportunity to qualify for an appointment to a professorship. Assistant professors are employed as lecturers for a period of six years. During this time they offer their own courses in all programs while carrying out their own independent research. WHU’s introduction of the assistant professorship supports the research orientation of the university and promotes quality education for talented young scientists. Assistant professors therefore work in very close cooperation with the university’s chairs, centers and other professors.
