WHU Rankings 2011

Financial Times European Business Schools

In the European business schools rankings published today by the Financial Times, WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management jumped from 29th to 20th place in the list of the top 75 European business schools. Once again, WHU is the highest ranked school of management in Germany, cementing the school's position among Europe's leading institutions of higher education.

The Aspen Insititute ranks WHU’s Full Time MBA Program among the Top 100 MBA programs worldwide. Beyond Grey Pinstripes is a research survey and alternative ranking that spotlights innovative full time MBA programs leading the way in the integration of issues concerning social, ethical and environmental aspects into curricula.

Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking

Participating for the second time in the Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking the Schools’ Master program was again assessed to be the best in Germany. With rank 6 in the global ranking, WHU is also particularly well established internationally. Especially WHU’s career service, which was rated to be the best worldwide by the Schools’ alumni received excellent results. Moreover, 92% of WHU graduates stated that their aims were achieved with regard to the program in terms of salary and study content.

CHE - University Ranking

The current CHE-University Ranking 2011/12 ranks WHU top tier in four of five categories. Top results were reached in the fields of study situation in general, possibility to finish studies in time, international orientation, and research funds. Students thought especially high of the Schools’ career service, through which important business contacts were established. The survey covered 250.000 students of 300 universities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Wirtschaftswoche

In the annually published „Recruiters University Ranking“ in the magazine WirtschaftsWoche, WHU was ranked 5th in the field business administration, improving from rank 6 in the last year. Additionally WHU ranks first place among all private Schools. 500 HR managers participated in the survey and rated graduates from different private Business Schools significantly better than graduates from public Universities in terms of demeanor, international experience, durance of studies and foreign languages.

Universum Student Survey 2011

WHU was placed among the top three universities concerning general satisfaction with the study situation in the Universum Student Survey 2011. In all fields WHU was clearly above average and was rated top ten in the fields reputation, business contacts, international relations, praxis orientation and access to service facilities by students.
