As part of its growth strategy, WHU establishes two

Postdoctoral Positions in Management Accounting and Control (m/f)

as of September 2012 (or later). While the first position has a focus on empirical research methods (mainly based on survey as well as panel data) and their application to Management Accounting and Control Research, the second position is focussed on Upper Echelon Research and the impact of the Top Management Team on Management Accounting and Control Systems.

Both positions are research oriented and part of the Institute of Management Accounting and Control (IMC). The postdocs are expected to work closely together with the two chairs, the assistant professors and other postdocs in the field of management accounting and control. In addition, the postdocs are expected to teach one class per academic year.

Candidates for the positions should hold a Ph.D. or doctoral degree in management, accounting, statistics or related areas and possess a record that demonstrates their research potential. Doctoral students close to completing their Ph.D. or doctoral degree are also encouraged to apply.
