WHU has established a unique network of cooperation with more than 180 universities across all five continents. No other German university-level institution even comes close to enjoying so many active and high-quality partnerships.
One particularly important aspect for WHU is the quality of its partners. WHU has established cooperative arrangements with half of the 30 top business schools in the US - the majority of these arrangements being exclusive within Germany. WHU enjoys particularly close contact with some of these schools, having agreed upon strategic partnerships with them.
MBA students spend a period of two weeks each at three of WHU's more than 180 partner universities: Kellogg School of Management (USA), CEIBS (China) and IIM Bangalore (India).
The cooperation network forms the basis of an exchange program carried out within the framework of the Bachelor and Master programs. The widespread network of partner universities ensures that, during their obligatory period of study abroad, as a rule a maximum of only three students attend the same partner university at the same time. This is key to facilitating real integration abroad. The foreign study period at WHU’s partner universities is a fundamental part of this degree programs. In turn, students from the partner universities spend one or two semesters at WHU. Whu is happy to welcome more than 100 exchange students per semester on campus.
Each year, WHU organizes in collaboration with its international partners a summer program for their Bachelor or MBA students. The main topic focuses on the economical and political environment in Europe and the implication for doing business in this region of the world.
