”Einführung in das Controlling” is market leader

“Einführung in das Controlling” by Jürgen Weber and Utz Schäffer has been the best-selling German-language textbook on the subject of Controlling for a number of years. Last year saw the publication of a new workbook providing a set of exercises and case studies to accompany the classic textbook. In order to achieve this, the established writing team of Jürgen Weber and Utz Schäffer was joined by Christoph Binder of ESB Business School, Reutlingen University. Christoph Binder completed his doctorate under Utz Schäffer and his since become an integral member of the IMC academic family. Just one year after its publication, the new workbook has established itself as a best-seller: it is the biggest selling workbook on the subject of Controlling in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The workbook focuses on the central chapters and topics of the textbook and looks in detail at how Controlling instruments can be used to address problems in corporate practice. The book provides simple exercises, a comprehensive case study based on the fictitious ”X-presso AG” and real-life examples from leading German companies. There are detailed solutions to all exercises and these are illustrated with easy-to-follow diagrams, tables and graphics.
