“At the boundaries of institutional theorizing: Individual entrepreneurship in episodes of regulatory change”, a paper co-authored by Lukas Löhlein, Assistant Professor at the Institute of Management Accounting and Control (IMC) at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, has just been accepted for publication in “Accounting, Organizations and Society” (AOS). Drawing on French sociologist Pierre Bourdieu, the paper explores the topic of the "embedded agency paradox“, which revolves around the question, why some individuals strive for change, while others remain constrained by their surrounding institutional settings. AOS is a STAR Journal in the ERIM Journal List as well as listed in the Financial Times Top 50 Journals.
