During the Industrial Excellence Conference 2018, INSEAD and WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management recognized HelloFresh with the prestigious “Industrial Excellence Award Europe 2018”. Prof. Dr. Arnd Huchzermeier, Chaired Professor of Production Management as well as founder and coordinator of this renowned industry competition, delivered the laudation.
INSEAD and WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management awarded HelloFresh with the prestigious “Industrial Excellence Award Europe” on October 25 in Berlin during the Industrial Excellence Conference 2018. Prof. Dr. Arnd Huchzermeier, WHU’s Chaired Professor of Production Management as well as founder and coordinator of this renowned industry competition, delivered the laudation. He praised the startup’s exemplary company growth through relentless customer focus, its high velocity B2C supply chain that covers not only densely populated areas but also entire countries, and the use of data analytics for smart planning and innovation.
Markus Windisch, COO, accepted the award in person. National champions, who also qualified as finalists for the European award, were Chocolat Frey (CH), IFF (ES) and Organic Kimya (TR).
Since 1995, the Industrial Excellence Award competition benchmarks Management Quality for European competitiveness in the industrial and service sectors. The competition focuses on strategy deployment, that is, how organizations align distributed activities and knowledge to achieve common strategic goals. The competiton takes place in eight West European countries and Turkey. Besides INSEAD and WHU, nine leading business schools act as academic partners, among others, AESE, Bocconi, Cambridge Judge, Erasmus, HEC Paris, IESE, IMD, Koç and TU/e.
