On February 5th, the winners of SCM Worlds’ Power of the Profession Award 2019 were announced. GE Appliances won in the category ‘Talent Breakthrough of the Year’ and Levi Strauss & Co. in the category ‘Supply Chain Breakthrough of the Year’. Additionally, Microsoft was recognized for ‘Talent Diversity Champion of the Year’; Agilent Technologies for ‘Talent Payback of the Year’ and GE Appliances for ‘Talent Partnership of the Year’. MSD was recognized for ‘Customer Innovation of the Year’, Levi Strauss & Co. for ‘Business Win of the Year’ and Dell for ‘Social Impact of the Year’.
Now in their fifth year, the Power of the Profession Award identify the supply chain profession’s most innovative initiatives from the past twelve months. Voted for by industry peers and SCM World Gartner’s expert panel of independent, executive-level judges, the Awards recognize initiatives in two categories: Talent Breakthrough and Supply Chain Breakthrough. The Awards are open to all businesses and individuals worldwide that own, operate and/or manage a supply chain.
