Strategic Management

The course intends to introduce students into the art of strategic thinking, make them familiar with the complexities inherent in strategic issues and with the most important methods of strategic management.

The lecture consists of three major sections: (1) Strategic Thinking (military, business, new approaches), (2) Strategic Management (management of competitive advantage, change management, strategy process), (3) Strategic Leadership (leaders, vision, horizons, perspectives, success). The objective of the lecture is to critically question complex strategic issues. In the course, in addition to knowledge transfer, application is practiced in case studies with the aim of asking questions about the strategy (what else should one know in order to make a longstanding decision).
