Course content
Introduction to the financial market with a focus on the following topics: Stock exchange, capital market and trading; stocks, bonds and funds; options and certificates; investment philosophy and stock market psychology; derivatives; portfolio theory. In a case study, students will evaluate a company both fundamentally and technically and pitch its stock.In this course, the contents of the following WHU courses will be applied or deepened: Foundations of Finance (derivatives, portfolio theory, options and investment philosophies), Corporate Finance (fundamental valuation of a share) and also financial statements.
