The following skills will be developed:
Students
- should be able to report on their experiences and impressions, talk about their goals and plans, and give short explanations/justifications for things that have happened.
- should have sufficient language skills to be able to cope in a number of situations; the vocabulary base is extensive enough, even if a little hesitant, to talk about their families, hobbies and interests, work, travels and current affairs.
- should be able to express themselves relatively fluently, even if there some pauses in order to structure their thoughts grammatically and to select items of vocabulary.
- should be able to initiate, continue and end a conversation about things which are familiar and/or interesting to them, repeat parts of what have been said to them in order to confirm their understanding of what has been said.
