Thailand has an emerging free-market economic, the second-largest in Southeast Asia. The International Module to Thailand focuses on the role of this emerging market as a regional hub close to fast-growing Asian markets. Thailand combines natural and cultural beauty with ultra-modern life-style. Its focus on global markets has led to a strong and diversified export sector, in which products range from agri-business to manufacturing (machinery, automobiles and auto parts, computers and components) and services (tourism and health services). Thailand is cyber-savvy and represents one of the most-attractive locations for living abroad. Challenges of the country are associated with infrastructure, income inequality, and pollution.

The International Module includes a mix of class meetings at Thailand’s best graduate business school, the Sasin School of Management in Bangkok, company visits highlighting important business sectors and some events that highlight the cultural dimension of the country. Sasin is most committed to the field of sustainability.
