Learning outcomes

- Becoming aware about the theoretical concept of comparative advantages and the role of economies of scale in international trade.
- Understanding the dynamics of the world economy and upcoming challenges.
- Understand how protectionist measures such as tariffs affect the economy and individual businesses.
- The World Trade Organisation (WTO) and the political economy of trade multilateral and bilateral trade arrangements.
- Becoming familiar with the European Economic Integration process and understanding the implications of the Brexit.
- Becoming aware of the special challenges that developing nations face in the world economy.
