Business Psychology ­­­– The business world draws more and more attention to understanding people’s experiences and behavior in organizations. In this module, students will acquire the basic knowledge and skills that will enable them to implement psychological principles in their daily working life. Specifically, students will be sensitized to the importance of intra- and interpersonal aspects that influence organizational life. This module is composed of interactive lectures with the goal of providing students not only with theoretical insides into a variety of psychological topics but also enable them to apply this newly acquired knowledge into practice. In short, this course covers topics that are crucial for becoming a business psychologist: ? What tools and exercises can I use to facilitate team meetings or trainings?

Having an understanding of core concepts related to the field of business psychology.

Being able to work in a team to apply business psychological concepts to the organizational context.

Gaining and practicingbasic psychological skills for workplace.

III. Attitude-related

Developing amindset to shape the people-related side of the workplace.

Being able and willing to critically reflect upon the role of psychology in the business context.

There are no required pre-readings for all participants; relevant literature will be anounced in the first lecture
Teaching and Learning Methods: Interactive classroom discussions/quizzes, group work, lectures, simulation activities/role-plays, written exam
