Literature
In the Japanese course we will be using new and innovative course books published by the Japan Foundation. These will enable students to learn in a short period of time how to talk about themselves, how to express themselves in a shopping situation, give directions and talk about their jobs amog others. "Maraguto" uses two methods:Katsudoo - this course book aims to provide students with sufficient oral and listening skills to be able to communicate in simple terms with Japanese speakers.Rikai - this conveys more profounf knowledge of the language, the written characters, grammar and sentence structure and is aimed at students who wish to delve deeper into the Japanese language. Both books are visual in their presentation and support the learning process with photographs, illustrations and audio material.
