Vallendar, Koblenz and the surrounding area

Vallendar is located in the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, a 65km stretch of the 1,230km international Rhine River. With its castles, historic towns, towering vineyards, and steep slopes, this section of the river is a UNESCO world heritage site. Major cities are dotted along the banks, and Koblenz marks the meeting of the Rhine and Moselle rivers. Perfectly placed, Vallendar and its surrounding area is never short of things to do and see.

The nearest city to Vallendar, Koblenz is the third biggest city in Rheinland-Palatinate, and is situated on the banks of the both the Rhine and the Moselle rivers. The Deutsches Eck is a must-see, and the riverside location lends itself to a number of scenic walks, bars, and cafés.
