IT-Support Staff (f/m/d)

The IT service team provides comprehensive support for all users at the university with a wide range of technology and applications.

Job Description

  • You are the contact person for IT support with a focus on software systems at the Campus Vallendar
  • Technical support for user problems
  • Analysis and documentation of error situations and development of solution approaches
  • Prioritisation, classification and documentation of requests in the ticket system
  • Carrying out care and maintenance tasks in the existing software systems

Job Qualifications

  • Completed technical vocational training with a good degree or extensive professional experience in line with the job profile
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
  • Basic knowledge of MacOS, iOS, Android
  • Willingness to familiarise yourself with new topics
  • Very good communication skills in German and English
  • Independent, structured and autonomous way of working with a high degree of reliability, service orientation and team spirit
  • An open, friendly and courteous manner as well a positive charisma
