Research Assistant/Doctoral Student or Postdoctoral Researcher (f/m/d) - Chair of Operations Management
The Chair’s academic interests lie primarily in the fields of metaheuristic methodologies, combinatorial optimization problems, as well as the interface between operational research and artificial intelligence. In particular, we value mathematical foundations and emphasize practical applications. We also support flexible work schedule and working from home.
Starting: as soon as possible
Locations: WHU Campus Vallendar
Previous degree: Master’s degree
- You are expected to develop research projects using the below-mentioned methods in the context of Operations Management and Logistics
- You are expected to teach in English in the Bachelor and Master programs at the WHU
- You have an outstanding master’s degree in Operations Research, Management Science, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- You have strong interests in Optimization, Quantitative Methods, and interdisciplinary research questions
