Founded in 2009, WHU SensAbility is a very young yet fast growing student initiative at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management that organizes an annual conference centering on Social Entrepreneurship. It is an event created by students for students to interact with social entrepreneurs, learn about sustainability in business and get actively involved with the entire field. Our goal is to raise the awareness of our participants for current societal and ecological problems and show students ways to connect their professional career with social responsibility. In order to do so, SensAbility invites speakers from different sectors who share their knowledge of and experiences concerning social entrepreneurship. In project workshops the participants will then be able to apply their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit to real-life problems, scenarios and social business models. Our Social-Pitch gives social founders the possibility to get funding and further business relations for their social startup. Furthermore we are offering real career opportunities to our participants with Speed-Dating social entrepreneurs and exchanging contacts at our Career-Fair.
