Alternatively, you can travel north by train to Cologne and then take the regional express train to Vallendar station. In certain circumstances this may even be quicker than opting for the train/bus combination via Koblenz.

From the airport Cologne/Bonn please take the regional express towards Koblenz and get off at the train station in Vallendar.
Directions from Frankfurt airport by train
From Frankfurt you can get to Vallendar by taking the train. You can either take the train to Koblenz main station and then switch to the bus number 8 to Vallendar, or take a train to Mainz and change trains at Mainz main station.

From the train station Vallendar you would walk northeast towards the “Rheinstraße/B42”. Please turn left and follow the street until you reach a roundabout. There you have to turn right into “Heerstraße” and keep on walking straight on. Stay right to stay on this street. After about 300 m you reach Burgplatz (above the underground car park) by turning left. You will find the main building of WHU on your left side.
Practice the skills of Lean Six Sigma by participating in a simulated Lean Office Kaizen event. Attendees will play a role in a transactional process problem and use mapping, data analysis and other problem-solving tools to improve the process and meet the customer's needs. Experiential learning - like the InBox Lean Office simulation - allows Master Black Belt instructors to recreate the ambiguity and messiness of real-life workplace problems in a safe classroom environment. Office processes have invisible workflow, making it difficult to translate the concepts of cycle time, flow and defects in a practical way.
The InBox simulation offers a environment where these and other Lean concepts can be taught, discussed and practiced within a workplace context. Participants will leave the workshop with a firm grasp of Lean fundamentals and an inspiration for applying the concepts at work.
