Center for Responsible Leadership

Good leadership rests on three pillars:

  • The will to lead
  • The skill to lead
  • The integrity to lead

The center aims at the integration of these three components.

Leaders must understand their own values (what’s important to them) and their role in other people’s lives (what’s important to others), in order to lead with integrity. Such an understanding of leadership purpose is the basis for focusing individuals’ will to lead, for extending and sharpening skills to lead, and hence for competently providing responsible leadership to people and organizations. Thus, the center operates largely at the intersection of leadership, business ethics, and corporate social responsibility.
