Over the past years, both the growing intensity of competition and marginal market growth rates have made it increasingly necessary to structure and manage companies in a market-oriented way. Meeting these demands, CMM, the Center for Market-oriented Corporate Management at WHU – Otto Beisheim School, was founded on January 1, 1997. As an academic institution, WHU provides the perfect environment for a center of this kind.
The founding of CMM has consequently enhanced the further development of WHU. CMM is committed to what WHU has set out to be, especially to its empirical focus and its international approach.
