Ramadan R. El Hayek has successfully completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business Administration (English) in the Islamic University of Gaza, Palestine. He has participated in diverse conferences abroad. In 2019, he received a “Research Grants-Doctoral Programmes in Germany, 2019/20” scholarship from the DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst), and now he is a research assistant and doctoral student at the Chair of Economic and Social Policy at WHU. In his dissertation, he focuses on assessing fiscal policies of different countries, particularly, in the Middle East by using the Generational Accounting method. Ramadan has gained 11 years of practical experience in working as projects consultant, researcher, and human resources officer for several IT and non-governmental organizations in Gaza and abroad.
