Adrian von Lewinski

External Doctoral Student

Since July 2020, Adrian von Lewinski has been pursuing his doctorate as an external doctoral student at the Institute for Family Business at WHU.

In his dissertation, Adrian investigates strategic and organisational aspects related to future readiness and transformation of family businesses. Particularly, he investigates family and external managers’ challenge to design and implement strategies that allow their organisation to simultaneously optimise existing activities and explore new business models.

Growing up in a family business, Adrian studied business administration in Germany and abroad. Since 2015, working as a strategic and M&A advisor, he supports national and international corporates, private investors as well as SME family businesses with the transformation of their portfolio and organisation.
