Dr. Moritz Feninger is an Affiliated Researcher at the Institute for Family Business & Mittelstand at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. His research focuses on internationalization decisions between family owner-managers and non-family managers’ collaboration, innovation management in family firms and hidden champions.
More than 15 years working in large family businesses have given him access to the main areas of his research. In recent years, he has built and managed an innovation center for a German family business abroad. At the same time, he works in the family business (9th generation) and has founded a new company in the tourism sector.
After holding academic positions in Germany, France, Switzerland, the USA (University of California) and the UK (University of St. Andrews), he completed his doctorate at WHU and has published his scientific articles in world-renowned journals.
