Short biography:
Since April 2024 Krista Charlier works as a Research Assistant and Doctoral Candidate at the Chair of Technology and Innovation Management. Before joining WHU, she worked at BCG Platinion for 4 years with key focus on IT and Tech projects across various industries in Germany, Southeast Asia and Africa. Krista already holds a BA in Business Administration from Stenden University (in The Netherlands) and MSc in Social Science in Service Management from Copenhagen Business School (in Denmark). She also did an exchange semester at Montpellier Business School (in France).
Research Focus
Her research focuses on entrepreneurship and role of business incubators in emerging markets with institutional voids with key focus on Sub-Saharan Africa.
