Marc Heiden

Short biography:

Marc Heiden started as a research assistant and doctoral student at the Chair of Technology and Innovation Management in April 2017. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Management at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management. In addition to a semester abroad at Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada, Marc studied at Tulane University in New Orleans, USA, where he successfully completed his Master in Business Administration (MBA) degree. Through numerous internships in Germany and abroad, he was able to gain work experience, inter alia, in the real estate, consulting and start-up industries.

Research Interests:

Marc Heiden's research focuses on the role of patents for company and stock valuation. He focuses in particular on the use of patent indicators for stock selection in important technology fields and on the development of communication strategies for innovative companies.
