- By airplane
From both Frankfurt airport and Cologne/Bonn airport it takes approximately one hour to travel to Vallendar either by car or by train.
- By car
A 61: At the intersection of A61 and A48 (Autobahnkreuz Koblenz) exit on A48, direction Koblenz.
Alternatively, A3: At the intersection of A3 and A48 (Dernbacher Dreieck) exit on A48, direction Koblenz/Trier.
Stay on A48 until you reach the exit “Bendorf/Neuwied/Vallendar”. Simply follow the signs to Vallendar and WHU for the next four miles.
Adjacent to the campus you will find a parking garage.
In case you are using a navigation system, please enter as your final destination “Heerstrasse” rather than “Burgplatz.” “Heerstrasse” will lead you directly to WHU and to the parking garage.
- By train and/or bus service
Take the Deutsche Bahn train to Koblenz (Central Station). The bus lines 7 and 8/8a, operated by Kevag, will take you to Vallendar. Get on the bus at the bus stop outside of Koblenz Central Station. Get off the bus in Vallendar at the bus stop “Bahnhof.” The bus ride will take about 20 minutes.
Alternatively, you may take the Deutsche Bahn train to Cologne (Köln) and change trains there to the so-called Regionalexpress, taking you directly to Bahnhof Vallendar. This may be faster than the connection by train and bus via Koblenz.
- Directions to Weitersburger Weg
Follow the directions to the WHU. Walking from the main building of the WHU or from the parking garage Marienburg to Weitersburger Weg 1 takes about 3 minutes. The Chair of Organization Theory is situated in a villa opposite a church built of distinctive red brick. There a few parking spaces available for visitors at Weitersburger Weg.
