The Chair of Organization Theory, which is directed by Professor Dr. Peter-J. Jost, was established in 1995.
The general research focus is on the integration of Economic Theory into the management of organizational problems.
In particular, organizational problems are analyzed by the means of Microeconomic Theory. In this respect, the research is connected with: Information Economics, Theory of the Firm, Management Compensation, Internal Labour Markets, Industrial Organization, Experimental Economics and Psychological Game Theory.
