Welcome to the Otto Beisheim Endowed Chair of Marketing and Commerce at WHU.


At out chair we inspire marketing – towards research, teaching and business.

Within our research fields price management, retail marketing as well as brand and luxury brand management, we strive for highly science-based and business-relevant answers for latest questions.

Through publications in business-oriented magazines and journals as well as cooperation projects, we cultivate the interaction and inspiration between theory and business. Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Martin Fassnacht is available as strategic advisor and for speeches upon request.

As „inspiring" for us also means to fill our students with enthusiasm for the diverse and relevant questions of marketing, we focus on current and business-oriented teaching methods. Regular guest lectures and case studies are central elements of our teaching.
