Prof. Jensen is appointed to the editorial board of the Journal of Personal Selling & Sales Management

Professor Jensen has been appointed to the editorial board of the Journal of Personal Selling & Sales Management. Globally, the Journal is the best known academic journal specializing in personal selling and sales management (www.jpssm.org).

The board supports the editor, Prof. Michael Ahearne, in developing the Journal. In particular, board members act as reviewers, approving or rejecting the papers submitted to the editor for publication in the Journal. Along with Ove Jensen, three further German professors serve on the editorial board:

  • Prof. Sönke Albers (Chair of Innovation, New Media and Marketing at the University of Kiel)
  • Prof. Florian Kraus (Chair of General Business Management and Services Marketing at the University of Mannheim)
  • Prof. Jan Wieseke (Chair of Marketing at the University of Bochum)
      

Of Germany’s over 200 marketing chairs, the Chair of Sales Management at the WHU is the only one to specialize in sales. The Chairholder, Ove Jensen, and his team are currently researching issues such as the optimal size of the sales force, the best approach to dealing with small customers, and the personality traits of sales people.
