On December 20th, 2011 Dr. Miriam Müthel defended her habilitation thesis at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. She received officially her Venia Legendi. After her presentation entitled "Team Capabilities and Team Processes in Software Development", Dr. Müthel successfully completed her habilitation and was awarded her postdoctoral certificate by WHU's Dean, Prof. Dr. Michael Frenkel.
Dr. Miriam Müthel studied Information Management at the Leibniz Academy Hannover and Economics at the university Lüneburg where she also received her doctorate degree. Since 2005 she works as an assistant professor at the chair of Leadership and Human Resource Management.
Before joining WHU, Dr. Muethel worked for over two years as a business consultant at Volkswagen in the area of international project management. Furthermore, Dr. Müthel worked for two years at Continental AG and Cap Gemini in the field of information management.
