Alicia Hamann

Alicia Hamann is a doctoral candidate and research associate at the Mercator Chair of Demand Management & Sustainable Transport at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management since September 2024.

She obtained a Master of Science in Business Analytics with distinction as the top of her class from the Hochschule Düsseldorf, with a focus on Supply Chain Analytics. In her Master's thesis, she developed demand forecasting models based on machine learning for a large life sciences company.

As a management consultant at a leading consultancy, she joined the Chair with two years of professional experience in several areas including pricing.

Her research interests include the mathematical modeling and optimization of demand management concepts in the retail sector, and in logistics.
