Founded in 2004, the Center for EUropean Studies (CEUS) was initiated by Professor Michael Frenkel, Chairholder of the Macroeconomics and International Economics Chair, and Professor Ralf Fendel, Chairholder of the Chair of Monetary Economics. The center was established with the goal of expanding academic activity within the field of European Integration.

WHU is a vibrant mix of students from around the world, with a variety of backgrounds and opinions, working alongside expert faculty. To offer an insight into just some of the numbers that make up WHU, here are some facts and figures:

18th CEUS Workshop

We are pleased to announce that the Center for EUropean Studies (CEUS) is hosting the 18th CEUS Workshop on European Economic Integration on May 16 and 17, 2024. Each year, researchers present their research findings among participants from universities, politics, and industry. We are committed to creating a fertile environment for dedicated economists to share their work with an international audience and enrich the discussions with their in-depth knowledge.
