Jiachun Lu is an Assistant Professor in the Supply Chain Management Group at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. Her research interests include supply chain disruptions, B2B negotiations, and cross-functional teams, drawing on insights from behavioral science. Her work has been published in leading academic journals, such as the Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Supply Chain Management, and Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management. Jiachun has been serving as a Reviewer for several academic journals, including the Journal of Operations Management and the Journal of Supply Chain Management. She is also a regular speaker at international conferences.

Jiachun holds a doctoral degree (summa cum laude) in the field of supply chain management from WHU, as well as a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree (with distinction) in International Business Studies from Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and a Bachelor's degree in German Studies and French Studies from Shanghai International Studies University. She also completed an exchange semester at Sciences Po Strasbourg. Jiachun is the recipient of several awards and scholarships, including the DAAD Prize in 2013, the Dr. Hans Novotny Prize in 2015, and the IPSERA Doctoral Dissertation Award in 2021.
