Bachelor European
Summer Program

In the summer, WHU offers the Bachelor European Summer Program as a two-week course on "The Business, Political and Cultural Environment in Europe" for undergraduate students of WHU's international partner universities.

The next program will take place from May 27 - June 8, 2018 on the attractive campus of WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management in Vallendar, located just outside of Koblenz in the UNESCO World Heritage Site Upper Middle Rhine Valley, one hour away from Frankfurt!

The two-week program, directed by Professor Dr. Michael Frenkel, focusses on the following topic

  • Trade Integration in Europe and the European Union
  • Monetary Integration in Europe: The Euro as Europe's Common Currency
  • Competing in European Markets
  • Operations Management in Europe - Embracing Sustainability
  • Business Environment and Strategies of Foreign Direct Investment
  • Investors in Central and Eastern Europe
  • European Marketing / Luxury Brand Management

Students can earn 4-6 US credits for the participation in the European Summer Program. Credit recognition needs to be confirmed by the home university.

There is no tuition for students enrolled at and nominated by WHU’s partner universities. Check out if your university is part of our Global Partner Network.

The Bachelor European Summer Program is tailored to Bachelor students in business administration, who are interested to learn more about the business environment in Europe. The program integrates cultural experiences and practical business examples, including on-site visits.

The language of instruction is English. Find out more about the program costs

As the program lasts until late Friday evening, the departure day is Saturday, June 09.

We recommend arriving on Saturday, May 26, to cure the jet lag as Sunday already is a full program day.
