Professors Analyze What Corona Will Mean For The Economy

WHU Establishes Online Session Series on Corona

Professor Dr. Markus Rudolf, Dean of WHU

In the course of the digital development of teaching formats and as a response to the corona crisis, WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management is launching the online session series "Business in a Post-Corona World - Impact of the Current Crisis on the Future of Businesses, Markets, and the Economy". The WHU faculty and guest speakers will highlight current topics and provide new insights into the corona crisis and its effects on companies and the economy.

"With the series of online sessions, WHU has the opportunity to share the expert knowledge of its faculty in the various subject areas beyond the student body with managers and also with society," says Professor Dr. Markus Rudolf, Dean of WHU and Professor of Finance. "Above all, it offers our participants in the Executive MBA and Executive Education Programs a contemporary solution to meet the current challenges".

The topics will address relevant issues in the areas of innovation opportunities, leadership, and finance. Besides, the existing teaching will be enhanced by a further digital solution for knowledge transfer. The online session series will start on April 6, 2020, with Professor Markus Rudolf's key question being: "How long will the coronavirus lockout last OR Should we protect our healthcare systems or our economies?"

Free participation in the online sessions is possible after prior registration.
