"We are delighted to be one of the first institutions to implement the Eikon software in our new WHU Finance Lab in cooperation with ByteWorx and Refinitiv," says Professor Dr. Markus Rudolf, Dean of WHU. The comprehensive software portfolio enables students to analyze trading and stock market data of any company from a financial point of view, and simulate trends up to stock market crashes.
The work in the WHU Finance Lab will be used in future in lectures and seminars, as well as for research at WHU. Thus, WHU members can use this tool in practice, for example, as an aid for the analysis of portfolios. The installed software is a product portfolio of the Fintech solutions provider ByteWorx and the technology developer Refinitiv. The Allianz Endowed Chair of Finance and the Center of Asset and Wealth Management, the library and the IT department of WHU are responsible for the professional and technical support. Furthermore, the project team consists of Bernd Preiss, Lead Technical Specialist by Refinitiv, Uwe Franke, Managing Director ByteWorx and Professor Dr. Markus Rudolf.
