The WHU MBA Class of 2018 Celebrate their Graduation

33 Full-Time MBA graduates reach the end of their MBA journey

Arriving to a musical welcome, families, friends, WHU professors and fellow students gathered at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Düsseldorf on January 25, to celebrate their accomplishments and successful completion of their Full-Time MBA degrees.

Spanning 12 months, the Full-Time MBA program challenges students and takes them outside of the classroom with international exposure and combining that with practical methods to further their leadership skills, develop their entrepreneurial spirit, and expand their strategic vision.

The day included congratulatory and thought-provoking speeches from program director Gerold Gnau, Professor Dr. Fassnacht and Dean of WHU, Professor Dr. Markus Rudolf, who emphasized the importance of a united Europe and reminded the graduates of the responsibility of the individual. The event also included keynote speaker and former student Harald Eisenächer, who graduated from WHU over 20 years ago. Now in the position of Chief Commercial Officer at Infare, he shared his own work experience with the graduates and explained how significant and far-reaching decisions can be in life, whether large or small.

Rounding off the day was the presentation of the ‘Best Teacher Award’, which was handed to Professor Dr. Serden Ozcan, who the graduates thanked especially for his extraordinary commitment.
