SPOAC new partner of Global Sports Innovation Center (GSIC)

SPOAC – Sports Business Academy by WHU has teamed up with the Global Sports Innovation Center based in Madrid, Spain.

The GSIC who´s primary goal is to improve the value chain of the sport industry by levering the most advanced technologies, enabling business connections has set the vision to become a worldwide reference for the sports industry from start-ups to enterprise organizations.

Located in downtown Madrid, the center provides technology services, solutions and programs that meet the needs of many audiences, including students, entrepreneurs, governments, and industries. With this aim, Global Sports Innovation Center facilities have different areas focused on their specific needs.

As one integral part of the partnership, students from SPOACs "General Management Program in Sports Business" (GMP) will be on site at the GSIC during their fourth module "Sports Marketing – How to address markets successfully" in November and benefit from the unique proximity to a variety of digital start-ups and tech-solutions within the GSIC ecosystem.

This year’s "General Management Program" (GMP) at SPOAC brings with it more focus on internationalization by offering the 4th module at the GSIC in Madrid, Spain, the 8th module in Shanghai, China, and by running all nine modules in englisch language. The "Class of 2018" will start of in September already and bring together up to 30 future leaders that are willing to expand their horizon in the field of sports and to broaden their network to top decision makers in this business.
