On October 28 and November 12, Christian Koldehoff, Global Head of CRM Analytics & Teamlead at Douglas, and Magdalena Pohl, Director of Global Expansion Strategy at i2x, provided interesting insights during their guest lectures in our MSc course “Actionable Customer Analytics”.
Christian Koldehoff gave the presentation “Data to Insights to Action – Customer Intelligence in a Retail Business”, in which he not only addressed important topics like customer clustering, artificial intelligence, A/B testing, and personalization, but also gave insights into use cases from Douglas’ own data-driven omnichannel business. Furthermore, he introduced the MSc students into this year’s Douglas Challenge, in which students are challenged to derive actionable recommendations from real-life transaction data.
Magdalena Pohl presented the topic „Artificial Intelligence in Phone Calls – Between Dream and Reality” and described how the effectiveness of calls can be improved by “augmented communication”. Using Artificial Intelligence, i2x analyzes customer calls to derive actionable recommendations for call center agents, which they can put into practice in real time.
