Ben Knapen is a Senior Researcher in lean product development at the Polytechnic University of Arnhem and Nijmegen (HAN), the Netherlands, and is owner of Knapen Innovation Consultancy. He also has extensive experience as NPD manager at international companies such as Océ, Nefit and Philips. In his guest lecture, Ben shared his insights on the opportunities and challenges of applying lean management to develop new products. He did not only provide valuable tools and recommendations, but also highlighted the behavioral implications of moving toward a lean new product development approach.
